I had a fever as high as 103 for three days. Felt quite fatigued for another three after that. Have had the full contingent of boosters and last was sick in 2022. Good luck to your husband.
I *really* enjoy your reports, and share the fact of your existence with anyone who genuinely enjoys following these things! Your humor is spot on, and keeps me smiling even when my gut is ready to take a flying leap over some gurgling, snot ass nasty storm coming my way. 😑
A member of our sailing club here in Stuart who works for NOAA, and teaches meteorology to students in Virginia (remotely now), gave a great presentation on hurricanes for us earlier this month. He shared some online resources I wasn’t aware of. Those GOES images of recent major hurricanes…yikes. Could scare the wits out of ya! Who needs to be “entertained” by all those new disaster movies coming out? Entertainment enough living in FL, lol. Boatloads of apps and such to wander through in season; mind boggling for folks like me trying to make sense of it all…😳
I happened to mention to him that I’m a Skywarn volunteer, and he was really interested in that. I told him how great your reports are for a “know enough to be dangerous” soul like me, and he asked how he could subscribe! Lifetime weather geek am I….y’all are rock stars in my eyes!
Hope you’re feeling much better. Might be that flirt-atious Covid variant going around. 😵💫 Lot of people getting it now. I had it a couple weeks ago. 😝
Hello and welcome back. So sorry you were sidelined with whatever you caught on vacation. Thanks for the update and hope you recover quickly.
Thank you! It was the dreaded coronavirus, unfortunately. Still nasty, can confirm.
How long until you felt better?

Yikes! So glad you are doing better.
My hubby tested positive and it has been a horrible sore throat for him as the worst symptom along with congestion, low grade fever and headaches.
Oh my goodness, I love your sense of humor..the NOAA Hurricane Center Seven-Day Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook is too clever! :-)

Thanks Judy. Have to take advantage of the opportunity to keep things light and fun before the Atlantic starts hurling fastballs :)
Welcome home. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Thanks for getting the word out! I am totally dependent on word-of-mouth for readership, so that is the one thing that helps me the most.
Don't know which variant felled me, but it was a nasty one. Maybe a special limited edition collectable genome only available at the EPCOT Center.
Hope you are feeling better.... lb
Thank you. Finally shaking it off.
good to hear, missing your funny self (very)
