Beryl will enter the Gulf soon, and risks of a hurricane landfall are increasing in south Texas.
"Beryl has been a remarkably resilient honey badger of a hurricane." This made me giggle. Who remembers Stoffel, the tenacious escapee?
I wasn't aware of Stoffel previously , but I love him now.
Honey Badger lore is probably not on every person’s radar unless it happens to be your squadron mascot 😉
What a week! Thanks for your reports.
Hurricane watching by those who can be impacted is so sad: always hoping it goes towards the other guys. Thanks.
This one didn't have Florida's name on it, but I'm not gloating. It's going to be a long year. In the meantime, here's hoping Beryl slots in on some of the less populated sections of the Texas coast.
We don’t gloat; we're just thankful — sad! — that it didn’t hit here, which means it hit somewhere else.
