Is there an annual giant debrief/post traumatic data disorder review, where THE “modelers” all sit around a campfire outside of Oslo and share data resolutions and suggest recommendations for how to modify their weasel words during next year’s forecast aberrations? Happy holidays!
Not in those exact terms, but there is an annual World Meteorological Organization meeting each spring in which each nation bordering the Atlantic coordinates forecasting and scientific protocols. It's best known for making the decisions to retire and replace hurricane names.
Thank you sir. Great coverage this year, especially enjoyed your "guest" forecaster! Appreciate all you do for us down here. Happiest of holidays!
Thanks! It's a team effort. Based on popular demand, I may need to make forecast insights from my kids part of the regular mix in 2024.
Thanks Doc!
