Got a dozen storm panels up this morning before running out of energy. I have kind of been prepping for this since we bought our house in 2004. We are at SRQ lever so flood should not be a problem, but as Betsy taught a 26-year-old version of me you never know how it will work out. Thank you again for working on this weekend after all you have been through.
A hearty thanks from Palm Bay. Starting on the shutters shortly. Been a while around here since we had to do this. BTW, we've had 2+ inches rain since 8am and still coming down. Mother Nature's pre-soaking I guess...
Again, thank you for all you do for us. It is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for issuing these updates, despite your exhaustion. They are my preferred source of information because of the background you provide. (Hope your wife is recovering well).
Thank you again from Venice Island. Am hoping all the furniture in yards here from Helene won't become projectiles with Milton. A real crash course in climate change!
Small porch potted plants, chairs and tables are inside our 3rd fl apt about 3 miles west of SRQ in North Sarasota/South Bradenton. We'll get to see how our new 5-story building survives Milton. Best case scenario for us is loss of power, which we're prepared for. I'll be thinking of you all as well, hoping you and yours will be OK.
Thanks to your forecasting, even tho I’m in Tallahassee for Milton, I now take all threats to Florida seriously.
All yard art and small pots went into the garage before Helene. I'm not planning to put most of it out again — ever. Annuals went, a month early, into the garden waste bin. Some pots will find themselves on the street during our community yard sale, October 19th, labeled Free!
My neighbor is leaving her windows boarded up until well into December. In our lightly-hit Tallahassee area, we’re still waiting for city crews to pick up our hurricane detritus. We understand.

Thank you, Ryan, my husband and I are prepping today and will evacuate tomorrow, with our four cats (cat4) 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
God Bless and Keep Those in Harm's Way...
Thank you. We are likely out of harms way but your clear analysis is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the update. Making plans now - rather plans to implement plans!

Climate change is here. As California knows.
