There is a slightly higher chance of eking out a depression or weak storm in the northwestern Gulf over the next few days, and a wet week on the Gulf Coast is ahead.

Florida tropical threat synopsis: A low over northern Mexico is interacting with a stalled front, and may briefly become a weak tropical system as it angles over the far northwestern Gulf along the Texas coast tomorrow or Wednesday. Heavy rain and localized flooding is expected along the western and central Gulf Coast regardless of development.
